Burglar hits resident after he’s caught red-handed

By the Daily Post staff

A resident in the 3300 block of Melendy Drive in San Carlos was hit by a burglar he discovered in his house last night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglar “verbally threatened” the resident and then hit him before leaving the house.

The burglar ran out the front and got into a newer model, dark, four-door sedan that was parked and where a driver was waiting.

The burglar was wearing a black hoodie with a black bandana covering his face, and black pants. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the sheriff at (650) 363-4911.

  1. Check your wifi history and see if burglar’s unique phone id connected to your router. It may have logged the driver’s unique phone also. Probably wasn’t the only house they visited that day.
