Santa Clara County, which has had the most severe Covid restrictions in California, will be moving from the Red to Orange Tier on Wednesday, meaning more businesses can reopen.
Palo Alto City Manager Ed Shikada said at tonight’s council meeting that he was told about the move by county officials.
Last week, San Mateo County moved from the Red to Orange Tier.
In the Orange Tier, restaurants can go from 25% to 50% indoor capacity.
