Medical helicopters will land on this helipad that’s on top of a wing of the hospital. It’s 160 feet above ground and the view of the mid-Peninsula is unobstructed. When helicopters land here, patients will be taken by an elevator to the Emergency Department on the ground floor. Seen here are Jennifer Winder and Chad Reeder, who gave the Post a tour of the new hospital yesterday. To keep the new hospital clean, everybody on yesterday’s tour had to wear blue coverings over their shoes.
