Victor Aenlle, the former San Mateo County Sheriff Chief of Staff who was accused of mistreating sheriff’s employees, was ordered to turn in his badge, gun and any other county property today (Nov. 21).
That’s according to a letter Aenlle received from Sheriff Ken Binder, who replaced Christina Corpus.
The Board of Supervisors replaced Corpus after investigations found that she and Aenlle harassed and retaliated against employees they believed were disloyal.
Binder didn’t give a reason in his letter for why he dismissed Aenlle, but Aenlle said it was political.
Aenlle was a volunteer reserve deputy for 17 years. He led Corpus’ campaign for sheriff in 2022 and catapulted from a volunteer to chief of staff, part of Corpus’ inner circle. His promotion was conspicuous because he had never held a management job in law enforcement before.
Jerk, he was a total jerk, Binder is correct in ditching a loser like VickTina. Good riddance to a total creep. Good on you, Sheriff Binder, carry on !
Now as to to the rest of her idiot Command Staff, like the paper pusher XX in charge of OES, they need to be shown the door asap too. He is a total zero.

What in the holy good God’s name is this letter? Stop giving this giy the time of day and any recognition… this letter sounds as if this man thinks he is the Sheriff and if you cross reference the words he wrote they are the same words Corpus spoke… so here is a prime example of a VOLUNTEER reserve that was given a role in the Sheriff office that he was unqualified ie chief of staff. The very words in Cordell’s report were further verified in the Oppenheimer report and the Kekker Repoer and then the Covil Grand Jury and then a 10 day court trial under oath…
The public gaslighting and corruption must end. A reserve has no authority and no retirement and no medical ? Aenlles walk of shame away from the Sheriff office is done snd over with. Moving on no further need to hear this guys name or see his picture in the papers any longee. He is meaningless
How exactly does a VOLUNTEER reserve have any authority over sworn personnel? What politics? Corpus was fired due to violations that Aenlle was also front and center in.
Take your pick… Aenlle is unfit due to bad conduct, nepotism violations ie. Inappropriate relationship and in my opinion mismanaging funds and falsely sending “volunteer” hours while being paid as chief of staff therefore it is fraud…
I notice the letter was NOT addressed to “Dr. Victor Aenlle”. Evidently Sheriff Binder sees through that fake label too. Giving Little Vicky the boot will no doubt be another morale booster at the SO, which is good news. More good news – if your kid wants to dress up as a Deputy Sheriff next Halloween, I hear that a bunch of child sized Sheriff’s Office uniforms will soon be available! What’s next, Vicky, Mall Cop?

Actually Vikaka was FIRED THREE TIMES from the Sheriff’s Office …
(1) Fired as a Deputy in training, Failing Patrol FTO
(2) Fired by the BOS as Chief of Staff, his self-proclaimed title
(3) Fired as a Volunteer Reserve by the newly appointed Sheriff Ken Binder

How often are volunteers fired? I thought you had to be “hired” to be “fired.” Or maybe he was volunteering and then hired, or both at the same time. Mind boggling to say the least.
He still calls himself a doctor. If somebody becomes sick on an airplane, God help us if the flight attendant says, “Is there a doctor on the flight” and he raises his hand.
