SAN MATEO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Tasers: The board will hear an update on the Sheriff’s Office use of Tasers and ways to reduce in custody deaths.

MENLO PARK PLANNING COMMISSION
6 p.m., Today (July 22), 701 Laurel St.

110 Constitution Drive: A study session will be held to discuss a proposed project that would consist of 320 homes, 33,100 square feet of office space and 1,608 square feet of “community benefit” space.

201 El Camino: A study session will be held to discuss a proposed project consisting of 12 homes, retail and office space next door to the Oasis.

Facebook hotel: The commission will review a request from Facebook to expand its hotel for Constitution Drive from 200 rooms to 240.

REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL
7 p.m., Today (July 22), 1017 Middlefield Road

Settlement: The council may approve a $55,000 settlement to a man who tripped and fell on El Camino Real near Chestnut Street.

Downtown: The council may approve a two year contract with Palo Alto-based nonprofit Downtown Streets Team to help homeless people in town find homes and work.

Accessory Dwelling Units: Changes may be made to the city’s granny unit ordinance.
Mayor rotation: A discussion will be held as to whether the mayorship ought to be rotated instead of picked by a majority.

MOUNTAIN VIEW CITY COUNCIL

City Attorney: The council may appoint Krishan Chopra to be the new city attorney.

EAST PALO ALTO PLANNING COMMISSION
