A 28-year-old man was shot several times during a party in East Palo Alto last night (May 12) and was rushed to a hospital where he is in critical condition, police said today (May 13).
The shooter ran away and is still being sought by police.
Police responded to the shooting at 8:48 p.m. in the 400 block of E. O’Keefe Street near Euclid Avenue. The victim was a San Jose man. He was attending a party at an apartment complex when an argument ensued with the shooter, police said.
During the argument, the gunman shot the victim several times in the torso before fleeing on foot.
Police said the victim is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
