A fire destroyed an RV at a mobile home park on E. Bayshore Road, leaving two people homeless, a fire marshal said.
Neighbors called at 2:44 p.m. today to report an RV that caught on fire at the Bayshore Villa mobile home park at 3499 E. Bayshore Road, according to Menlo Park Fire District Fire Marshal Gage Schlice.
Firefighters on the scene found the RV engulfed in flames. Firefighters called the park’s managers, who then notified the RV’s owners.
Fire crews put out the fire, but it had destroyed the RV, and investigators are looking into the cause, Schlice said.
The two people arrived after the fire was put out and are now seeking other housing as the RV is a total loss, according to Schlice.
