  1. Measure J deserves better than a cartoon that the City is conceding a scandal. Withholding an appraisal in itself does not prove the price is unreasonable, the negotiation is dishonest , or Measure J is a bad investment. Measure J merits its benefits on established facts, not the insinuation of a cartoon. Vote Yes on Measure J. Community First!

  2. Ken, don’t you read the papers? I think the issues regarding the appraisal have been laid out pretty well in previous news stories and editorials. I don’t think the purpose of a cartoon is to repeat all of the reporting on a subject to date. Maybe you’re upset because this cartoon is right on the mark.

  3. Dave Price nails it again with another great cartoon. It’s incredible to me that the Yes on J crowd would rather attack opponents instead of addressing the obvious flaws and deception surrounding J.

    Measure J should go back to the drawing board to add a sunset provision and to ensure the funds are dedicated to Cubberley and NOT a general tax giving the city ANOTHER blank check in perpetuity.
