With the final push before Election Day, San Mateo County’s race for a Supervisor to represent the district for East Palo Alto and North Fair Oaks is heating up.

East Palo Alto Councilwoman Lisa Gauthier raised $25,906 and East Palo Alto Mayor Antonio Lopez raised $7,000, both between the reporting period from Oct. 19 to Nov. 22.

Gauthier received donations from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees union for $500, and another $500 from American Federation of State Municipal Employees union, the Bay Area Council Candidate PAC gave $1,000, former Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf chipped in $100 to her campaign and San Mateo Supervisor David Canepa gave $500 and Sheet Workers local Union gave $1,000.

Gauthier has so far raised $136,242 for her campaign and has spent $169, 813.

Financial documents show that Lopez raised $7,000 in this financial campaign cycle, but do not show if he has spent money for his campaign during that point.

Lopez had six people during the filing period, all giving between $500 to $1,000.
