Parents brawled on the basketball court at Gunn High School last night (Feb. 13) seconds after a one-point overtime win over Wilcox High School from Santa Clara.

Parents pushed and shoved each other, and at least one of them fell to the ground, videos show.

A player had to be held back from going at fans, according to videos taken by students in the crowd.

Multiple fights spilled over into the lobby after about five minutes, videos show.

“It’s just an unfortunate situation,” Athletic Director Kevin Johnson said.

Johnson said said he didn’t want to comment further because of the police investigation.

A fire truck, an ambulance and several police cars responded to the scene, but paramedics left without taking anyone to the hospital.

  1. You obviously weren’t there. The situation stated because of an immature student Gunn let in the gymnasium. Before commenting on something you should know the root of the problem
