Female motorcyclist killed is identified

A motorcyclist on San Antonio Road in Palo Alto struck a pole and died last night, police said.

The female motorcyclist was identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner as Leslie Buenrostro, 21, of East Palo Alto. She was riding a 2022 Kawaski going east on San Antonio at Nita Avenue (between Alma Street and Middlefield Road). Police don’t believe that any other vehicle was involved in the accident.

Police said that at this time it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor. Police are continuing their investigation.

  1. Riding a motorcycle can be very dangerous? I myself know, about five years or more put my 02 Fatboy behind a car…fell asleep yes a sleep, remember picking up my head and there’s a car right there. Let me start at the beginning? Used to be up for eighteen hours a day, worked at Mineta International as a cook my day started at 2:30am, was homeless and you can’t sleep just anywhere used to sleep in the park for a few hours anyway, was going to work and fell asleep hit the back of a car couldn’t avoid it. Thought that l was going to die but as the The Lord, the all mighty said not today, hit said car went over the car knee hit the ground first, in my mind said damn that hurts. Anyhow, bless that young lady Lord. Don’t know why l’m still here but l am. Thank you Father God…
