A Mountain View man was arrested Dec. 20 for having more than 300 images and videos of child pornography, according to police.
Police said they had been investigating Marco Cordoba Alfaro, 31, since August, after they were tipped off about a Tumblr page that had multiple pornographic images of children, some as young as six months old, being sexually abused.
Police linked the Tumblr page to Alfaro, who also had a Dropbox account with 300 images of child pornography, according to police.
Police searched Alfaro’s home and found several more child pornography images. He was later arrested at his job in San Jose. Alfaro is in jail in lieu of $25,000 bail for suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography.
