3 Palo Alto officials up for pay raises

Three Palo Alto officials may receive a pay raise tonight (Dec. 17).

City Attorney Molly Stump is slated to receive a 5% annual salary increase from $284,253 to $298,480.

City Clerk Beth Minor may receive a 4% increase in her annual salary from $146,806 to $152,693.

And City Auditor Harriet Richardson may receive a 4% increase in her annual salary from $187,533 to $195,042.

The salary increases will be retroactive to July 1, according to a report from Human Resources Director Rumi Portillo’s office.
Soon-to-retire City Manager Jim Keene turned down a pay raise from council.

Keene is retiring on Thursday after 10 years with the city.

Keene made $313,477 in salary and $152,302.81 in benefits last year, bringing him to a total of $479,994.73, according to Transparent California, a website that keeps track of government compensation.
