A consultant hired by the city of Palo Alto says The Marc apartment complex at Forest Avenue and Cooper Street provides 0.92 parking spaces per bedroom, but
has a peak demand of 0.58 spaces per bedroom. City Manager Jim Keene said that suggests there are opportunities to reduce parking requirements in future apartment buildings without creating spillover impacts or an undersupply of available parking. Photo from the city.
