The 47-year-old man has not yet been identified.
At 6:55 a.m., police went to the 2400 block of Pulgas on a report of a man down in the street. Police said a preliminary investigation showed that a 47-year-old
man was wrapped in plastic and towels and sleeping on an abandoned mattress on Pulgas Avenue when a truck ran over him.
