Peninsula journalist and interviewer Angie Coiro will speak on the “Evolution of Progressive Radio” at Saturday’s (Jan. 12) meeting of the Mid-Peninsula chapter of the American Association of University Women at 1 p.m. at the Belmont Library.
Coiro produces and hosts “This is Now With Angie Coiro” for the Literary Foundation of Kepler’s Book Store in Menlo Park. She brings her trademark focus on politics and culture to one-on-one interviews and curated panels on current issues.
She also hosts the podcast/radio show, “In Deep With Angie Coiro,” available at InDeepRadio.com. It’s recorded every other Thursday at noon at the Dragon Theater in Redwood City.
The Belmont Library is located at 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont. The public is welcome without charge to Saturday’s talk.
