Six new board members have joined the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce this year, bringing a diverse array of experience and expertise to help their community.

“The new members bring the board to 17 directors,” said Board President Jon Goldman. “Together they will work to help the chamber be a catalyst for business growth, a champion for a thriving business community and a convener of  leaders and influencers.”

The new members are:

• Kanika Sabharwal, vice president and branch manager for City National Bank in Palo Alto.

• Priscilla Christie,  the owner of Discovering You, which offers business coaching and consulting, including marketing and branding solutions.

• Sally Flinchbaugh, the COO/EVP of Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto.

• Brayton Gosling, general manager of El Prado Hotel in downtown Palo Alto.

• Dan Mitchell, senior manager for city and community engagement at Nuro, a robotics company that is developing autonomous delivery vehicles. You have probably seen the Nuro vehicles driving in Palo Alto.

• Collin Sommerhauser, head of HanaHaus in Palo Alto. HanaHaus has been Palo Alto’s premier community workspace since 2015, combining the best aspects of cafe and coworking culture to cultivate a dynamic atmosphere for innovation.

  1. Wow. An event that lasts 2 whole hours. Too bad they don’t have the imagination and commitment to Palo Alto that the owner of Menlo Park Bistro Vida and Los Altos Nature Gallery do to have regular weekly and monthly events like MP’s Wednesday Market and the First Friday in Los Altos.
