UPDATE, SUNDAY, 11 p.m. — The CHP reports that all lanes are open on northbound Highway 101 after a big-rig crash this morning.
SUNDAY, 1:08 p.m. — A big rig overturned this morning (Jan. 18) on northbound Highway 101, just south of Redwood City, after a collision that left the two drivers with minor injuries.

One lane remained closed as of about 7 Monday night.
CHP officers responded to the wreck near Marsh Road at about 10:50 a.m. and found the big rig on its side on the righthand shoulder.
The 18-wheeler with its trailer attached was involved in a collision with a sedan and both drivers were hospitalized with injuries described as minor, according to CHP Officer Sophie Lu.
There was no information on what caused the collision.

Was the big rig driver a citizen? If he wasn’t, how did he get his CDL?
