Sheri was born in Berkeley, CA to Richard and Margaret Pinnell, attended El Cerrito High School (class of 1959) and earned her BA in History from UC Berkeley. She was married to Stephen Van Coops in 1964 with whom she had 3 children.
Sheri married Paul Jansen-Olliges in 1985 in La Honda, CA where they forged a tight-knit family full of traditions. She is survived by her husband, Paul, of 39 years, their combined six children, Lisa Lucett (Van Coops), Christopher Van Coops, Michael Van Coops, Melanie Jansen-Olliges, David Jansen-Olliges and Catherine Droske (Jansen-Olliges), and her grandchildren, Shane, Scout, Erin, Collin, Audrey, Carissa, Corinne, Gabriella and Isabella.
Family and friends are invited to join a memorial and celebration of Sheri’s life at the Twin Pines Park Lodge, 40 Twin Pines Lane, Belmont, CA 94002 on Sat, Feb 22, 2025 at 1-4pm.
