Redwood City police say they are investigating a murder of a man on Friday night.
At 10:43 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of El Camino Real (between BevMo and Davies Appliances) in response to a call about gunshots.
At the same time, police got a call about a man dropped off at a hospital with gunshot wounds. The man suffered a single gunshot wound, which proved to be fatal.
Two days earlier, on Sept. 25, a man was shot in the area around Jackson Avenue and Adams Street at about 9:30 p.m. The man was rushed to a hospital and, at last report, was recovering from a serious injury. It’s not known if the two shootings are related.
Police are asking the public to call (650)780-7100 if they know anything about the murder.
