Dog park to close briefly; Little League to get a home run fence

The temporary dog park at the Hillview Baseball Field in Los Altos will be closed for two months this winter so the grass can regrow, and in the meantime, the city will look into installing a home-run fence to separate the dog park from the baseball diamond.

The off-leash pilot program will end on Nov. 14 so the park can close until January.
