As a human services and social work faculty member at several colleges/universities in Missouri, Indiana, Kansas, and Nebraska over the past 50 years, I have come to appreciate the older undergraduate student’s focus, determination, and commitment to personal academic success and goals. Your academic achievement is remarkable! Your desire to continue taking religious courses is highly commendable–I also took religious courses at various universities and seminaries. Again, congratulations on your academic accomplishment, and special praise for your graduating summa cum laude and receiving the university’s Academic Excellence Award!
