An armed man held up at least four 7-Elevens on the mid-Peninsula, a Redwood City police officer said.

A robber tried to hit a 7-Eleven at 1700 Broadway in Redwood City around 3:30 a.m. Monday (April 1), said Lt. John Gunderson.

After that failed attempt, he robbed the 7-Eleven at 460 Woodside Road in Redwood City, taking cash.

Gunderson would not say how much money he got.

There were similar robberies at Mountain View and Sunnyvale 7-Elevens, according to Gunderson.

The robber was likely the same guy, he said. The man was carrying a handgun and is only described as an Asian male.

No one was injured as a result of the Redwood City robberies, Gunderson said.
