An 8-year-old girl died yesterday (July 6) after she and two adults were found unresponsive at the bottom of a pool in Palo Alto, said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin McNally.
Firefighters were called to Barron Square, a condo complex on Thain Way just before 6 p.m. on report of three people at the bottom of a pool, McNally said.
All three were taken to Stanford Hospital, but the child died from her injuries. The adults were in critical condition last McNally had heard.
McNally did not have any details on how the child and two adults ended up in the pool, but no foul play is suspected.
