Fatal hit-and-run on El Camino

A 38-year-old homeless woman has been killed in a hit-and-run on El Camino Real in Redwood City, police said.

Cheramy Warren was hit on northbound El Camino near the intersection of Brewster Avenue between 1:30 and 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Lt. Nick Perna said.

Warren had no permanent address in San Mateo County, a representative for the coroner’s office said yesterday.
