Terence Frances Wenzl was born on May 8, 1945 in Eugene, OR. He died peacefully the morning of September. 15, 2026 in Daly City, CA. He is survived by his spouse, 3 children, 4 grand children, 2 great grand children, 6 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A significant portion of his life was spent working for justice and equality. He touched many people by the way he lived his life and how he cared for people. Many described him as a hard worker, dedicated with a tremendous Irish gift of gab. When he wasn’t immersed in developing housing for the poor, he loved reading, listening to good music, playing his guitar and entertaining people with his jokes and stories. During the final decades of his life he faced physical trials and challenges but continued to keep the flame of hope and faith alive. He will be deeply missed by many.
The service celebrating his life is at St Bartholomew Church, 300 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo, CA 94402 on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The Rosary will be held prior to Mass at 9:30 a.m.
