A man suspected of killing his wife in Redwood City and then shooting himself in the head has died at a hospital, police said yesterday.
At 12:02 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1300 block of Seaport Boulevard to investigate reports of a suspicious vehicle.
When they arrived, they found Denise Alessan Madrigal Martinez, 36, in the passenger seat and her husband, Armando Madrigal Barajas Jr., 36, in the driver’s seat. Both had been shot in the head, according to Redwood City police.
Investigators believe that Barajas shot Martinez then himself. A gun was found at the scene, police said.
Martinez died in the car and Barajas was taken to the hospital, where he died Wednesday, according to police.
