Friday Night Lights for Crave Yoga’s 3rd Anniversary

Crave Yoga

Crave Yoga in Mountain View is celebrating its third anniversary this Friday with a special “Friday Night Lights” open house that includes free classes, refreshments and raffles. Everyone is welcome to come by.

The DJ-led Vinyasa Flow yoga classes will be held this Friday at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., and in between there will be refreshments, raffles and exclusive anniversary specials on classes on offer.

Founder Helena McLoughlin, a native of Ireland, started Crave Yoga in December 2021 after 13 years of teaching classes in fitness and yoga in various capacities throughout the Peninsula.

And how have these last few years been going?

“Amazing,” declared McLoughlin. “We are growing by the day.”

She said she is “beyond grateful” to everyone who has supported the studio.

And as Crave Yoga has grown over the past three years, so too have the studio’s offerings. Currently they’re accepting applications for their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in January 2025. Led by Nikki Saengcha (formerly Wong), the program can not only deepen your mastery of skills, but also inspire you to profound personal growth and transformation, said McLoughlin.

“Are you feeling stuck and looking for something to change? Do you want to enhance your life?” she said. “Then our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is for you.”

You can also join Crave on weekends for Crave | THE EVENT, exclusive, enriching classes that welcome you to explore fresh styles and elevate your practice – all at the regular class rate.

This month, highlights include a Friday Night Sound Bath, a Vinyasa Class with Yoga Bands and a Couples Prenatal Yoga Workshop. Additionally, Crave Yoga offers weekly prenatal yoga classes led by the renowned yoga teacher Marti Foster.

As a way of giving back to the community, Crave also holds free guided meditation and Reiki healing classes on Mondays at 7 p.m. – an offering that’s been enthusiastically taken up by many community members. It’s no wonder they’ve been voted the best yoga studio in Mountain View the last two years in a row.

McLoughlin said that every class at Crave Yoga is mixed-level and open to all from beginners to students with years of experience.

“What people love about us is we’re a warm welcoming environment with experienced teachers,” she said. “You’re not going to be ignored when you walk in.”
