Someone broke into a classroom at Gunn High School and took 25 MacBooks and an unknown number of cameras, Palo Alto police said.
Principal Wendy Stratton said that the district is investigating. She declined to expand on where the break-in happened or how students were affected.
Lt. Dave Lee said the burglar forced entry in a locked closet some time between the afternoon on June 2 and the morning of June 3.
Police don’t have any suspect information at this time.
The laptops were MacBook Airs, which cost around $1,000.
