One arrested in stabbing at the Sports Page

One man has been arrested in connection with  a stabbing at the Sports Page Bar and Grill in Mountain View, police said.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1400 block of Shoreline Boulevard on reports that a man had been stabbed and that security officers at the bar were following a possible suspect on foot. Officers found the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Pleasanton resident Ronald Ferrari. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.

The victim, a 19-year-old East Palo Alto man, was taken to a hospital with one stab wound to his upper body. He is expected to survive. A knife used in the incident that was discarded by the suspect was found by a police dog.
An investigation into what led to the stabbing is ongoing.
