Google employees get the ‘all clear’ after suspicious package is found

12:05 p.m. — A suspicious package found at a Google building this morning has been examined and rendered safe, Mountain View police said.

The package was not blown up, but examined by the Santa Clara County bomb squad, police said.

The building in the 2000 block of Casey Avenue was evacuated mid-morning after the package was found. Employees have been allowed back into the building, police said about 11:45 a.m.
