Palo Alto police say the man pictured above exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl who was riding her bike on Drivewood Drive on Sunday (Jan. 3).

The girl said that between 3 and 4 p.m., a car pulled up alongside her and the driver asked for directions. When she looked inside the car, she could see that the man had his genitals exposed and was touching himself, police said.

The man opened the door as if to get out, at which point the girl rode away.

The man drove by her briefly but left the area at the same time the girl noticed a family walking nearby. The girl returned home and told a parent, who in turn called police.

The girl told police the driver was an Hispanic man in his 30s. He was either bald or had extremely close-cropped hair. He was wearing a light-colored denim jacket, dark denim pants, and large silver sunglasses. The victim described his car as a newer silver Toyota sedan, possibly a Camry. She said the license plate contained the letter “H.”
