  1. Is this not a free country with freedom of speech being one of our undeniable rights? I’m glad he and his family weren’t elected to represent the city. Good job EPA residents for electing the other guy.

  2. This is a blatant attempt to intimidate political opposition and stifle political dialogue in East Palo Alto. Palo Alto Park Mutual Water has a documented history of controversy, and there was an excellent article, “Troubled Water” by Kate Bradshaw in another newspaper detailing many complaints of this public utility. Public figures like political candidates should expect to face criticism, and this is protected free speech under the first amendment. This case will be thrown out after the judge reads it.

  3. The fact that Webster, his MOM, and his GRANDMA decided to file this lawsuit during a pandemic says a lot about their character. I really hope they realize how bad of a look this is for their family.

  4. Nextdoor is a cesspool of dog whistles and unequally applied rules that vary based on which neighborhoods or race you belong to. Its rapid transformation into a pay to play site for realtor candidates who can remove opposition en masse with coordinated anonymous flagging should require FPPC reporting.

Wonder why you can’t see posts from the billionaire neighborhood next door but you can from poor neighborhoods 12 miles away? Or why some neighborhoods can view who is flagging them while users of color are just permanently suspended?

  5. The Comments made on this page are made by people that Have an Agenda. It is a well known fact that One of the Individuals was caught on tape expressing Their views regarding, that he chose One Candidate over another. Because of the “Developer” factor.
He’s on the side of the Developers.
The Commenter is also choosing to leave out exactly WHY the Lawsuit was filed. Seeing that They are the One’s that allowed Lopez and his Supporters to Post “Tacos for Votes”.
He said it was a simple “Party”. They did not expect that they would be (sabotaged), by an Official(included) in the Petition. That could not measure or inform Lopez, that he was “Electioneering” on a “Voter Centers” property.
Its up to the Candidate to be more vigilant. After all He would be running to Operate a City? The Church was NOT just a simple “Polling” place.
As for the Water Co. This too is exaggerated. Because although it has been publicized. The poster above is not including the UPDATES. Why isn’t he? The Water Co. was exonerated.

    • Hi Gail! Merry Christmas! We all can tell which commenter you mean and we noticed your fixation on him. Webster Lincoln’s sour grapes are bad for the residents but he doesn’t care.
