Coroner identifies man killed in crash at 92 and 280

Update, Wednesday, 2:45 p.m. — The coroner has identified the man killed in the crash as Benjamin Aleman, 18, of San Mateo.

Tuesday, 10:45 a.m. — One person was killed in a fiery solo-vehicle crash overnight on Interstate 280 near Crystal Springs Reservoir, the CHP said.

The CHP responded to a car fire shortly after 10:20 p.m., on southbound 280, under the Highway 92 overpass.

A white sedan hit the highway center divider, then the fire began, according to the CHP.
