Car hits teen at Central Expressway and Moffett

10:30 p.m., Monday — Mountain View police say they’ve found the driver who is believed to have hit a teenage bicyclist earlier in the evening at Central Expressway and Moffett Boulevard. The driver, who is 18, has been taken to the police station. Police say they’ll have more information in the morning.

10 p.m., Monday — Mountain View Police are looking for a dark-colored sedan that hit a teenage bicyclist tonight (June 15).

At 7:15 p.m., officers were called to Central Expressway and Moffett Boulevard and found a teenage boy in the road, being helped by some Good Samaritans who stopped to help, police said.

The boy was taken to the hospital and was suffering from what police called moderate injuries.

The sedan was last seen heading westbound on Central Expressway going toward Shoreline Boulevard, police said.

If anyone has information on the call, they’re asked to call 911.
